Financial police looking into wealth of MP Kubanychbek Jumaliev

AKIPRESS.COM - The state service for combating economic crimes said it has started looking into the wealth of Kyrgyz lawmaker Kubanychbek Jumaliev. Criminal probes into illegal wealth and illegal participation of an official in business activities were launched.
Criminal probes came following the social media postings by citizen Siymik Japikeev, who accused the MP of corruption and stealing the public property worth several million dollars.
MP Jumaliev, for his part, reported against Japikiev to the police for spreading misleading information and thus threatening his health.
On May 7, pre-trial investigation into "inciting to violence" was launched against Japikeev.
