Coronavirus situation under control, Tajik Health Ministry says

AKIPRESS.COM - The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan said the situation with coronavirus infection is under control, Khovar reported.
"The government and the Ministry are taking all necessary actions. There is no shortage of medical masks and antispectics in the country like that happened in other parts of the world. All protective items are mainly produced in the country. All infected with COVID-19 receive necessary medical care, the prices for medicines are regulated, large-scale disinfection is carried out," the Health Ministry said.
The Health Ministry underlined importance of practicing a good personal hygiene and social distancing.
"Sanitary norms should not be ignored, otherwise infection will spread exponentially and will become uncontrollable," the Ministry of Health said.
Tajikistan has so far confirmed 661 COVID-19 cases. 21 patients died.
