AKIPRESS.COM - Analysis of the COVID-19 situation in Kyrgyzstan showed that there is a decline in incidences since April 16, said Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev on May 12.
The increase in the number of coronavirus cases was observed from April 5 to 20 with the biggest number of cases on April 11-12 (41 and 38 cases).
The peak of active COVID-19 cases was previously predicted for 20-24 April, but in fact the biggest number of infections was recorded a week earlier.
"The decline in the incidence began in late April, which is related to the effective measures. However, the situation still remains tense because of the big number of imported cases and new infection cases inside the country," he said.
Today country's total stands at 1,037, with 709 recoveries and 12 deaths.
