AKIPRESS.COM - The risk of spread of coronavirus infection remains high in Kyrgyzstan, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at the briefing on May 10.
The state of emergency expired last night in Bishkek, Osh, Jalal-Abad and At-Bashi district. However, quarantine has been introduced in Bishkek, Osh, At-Bashi district of Naryn region, Chatkal district of Jalal-Abad region to prevent spread of the coronavirus infection, the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
The emergency situation will be in effect in other parts of the country. They won't have quarantine, but will have to practice social distancing, social isolation, to comply with sanitary and epidemiological rules, Kubatbek Boronov said.
"More than 28,000 citizens have been placed under home quarantine. Those who tested positive for coronavirus infection are receiving medical care at hospitals," he said.
