AKIPRESS.COM - Earlier issues passes became invalid after the commandant's office ceased its operation last night, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said.
Driving private cars is allowed for essential reasons or to get to work, he said.
If people drive their cars without serious reasons, they will face legal consequences, the First Deputy Prime Minister warned.
Sanitary and quarantine checkpoints will be set up within Bishkek during quarantine.
"A citizen living in Chui region, but working in Bishkek, should have the employment confirmation to freely pass checkpoints. This confirmation should have a stamp of a district tax authority. Employers may do that for their workers," Kubatbek Boronov said.
The employment confirmations are required for citizens living outside Bishkek but working in the capital.
"Those who live in Bishkek do not need such confirmation," Boronov said.
