Leilek district cleared after recent mudflows

AKIPRESS.COM - Liquidation of consequences of recent mudflows in Leilek district, Batken region, was accomplished, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
Heavy rain caused mudflows at around 6.30 p.m. on May 2.
The basement of the kindergarten was flooded, water supply pipes, which supplied water to 1,180 households, were damaged. Around 60 m-long mudflow protection barrier in the Isfana-Sai canal was destroyed.
The emergency situation was declared in Isfana, Toguz-Bulak, Margun, Ak-Suu, Sumbula rural municipalities.
The clearance operation after the mudflows was finished on May 5.
