Social media users share video of dam burst moment in Uzbekistan from bird's-eye view

AKIPRESS.COM - The video of the moment of Sardoba dam burst from the helicopeter was shared on social networks.
The dam burst in early hours of May 1.
The authorities blamed the heavy rain and the windstorm for the burst.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said 56 people were taken to hospital with injuries, around 70,000 people were evacuated. Two servicemen of the National Guard were carried away with water flows. The body of one of them was found, the search for the second serviceman is ongoing.
The Sardoba water reservoir was built in 2017. It hosts 922 million cbm of water.
