Chatkal district locked down

AKIPRESS.COM - Chatkal district has been locked down since May 4, the entry to the region is restricted, Jalal-Abad region governor Nurbolot Mizahmedov said.
The district was locked down after 7 COVID-19 cases were confirmed.
Medical professionals and local authorities are carrying out outreach work with local population explaining importance of practicing good personal hygiene and social distancing to prevent the infection.
