China hands over medical supplies and 1 million soms donation to Bishkek mayor's office

AKIPRESS.COM - Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen handed over 10,000 medical masks, 300 safety glasses, 200 coveralls, 200 medical caps and 30 contactless thermometers to Bishkek vice mayor for social policy Tatyana Kuznetsova, mayor's office said. Public aid has been transferred from the Association of Construction and Finishing Materials of Guangdong Province.
Additionally, the chairman of the association and the charity fund "LF" donated 1 million soms to the Bishkek mayor's office.
Personal protection equipment will be distributed between the city health department and the State Epidemiological and Sanitary Surveillance Center.
The money will be used to provide humanitarian support to mothers with many children through the Social Development Department.
