MP suggests for President Jeenbekov to step in to negotiate arrangement of transit corridor with Kazakhstan for citizens stranded on Russian-Kazakh border

AKIPRESS.COM - There is a resolution of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan instructing the government to arrange return of citizens stuck on the Russian-Kazakh border, but the transit corridor through Kazakhstan has not been arranged yet, MP Ulugbek Ormonov said in Parliament today.
"If the government can't arrange opening of the transit corridor, if the Prime Minister and the Foreign Ministry can't resolve the problem, then the President should talk to President of kazakhstan Tokayev," MP Ormonov said and urged the government to help citizens, who are stuck there since March 16.
