AKIPRESS.COM - The economic activity stopped in some areas, therefore it was decided to lift the state of emergency in there, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said.
Gradual resumption of economic activity will be done in 3 stages: from May 1, from May 11 and May 21. Passes for free movement for businesses will be issued starting May 1, he said.
Areas where sanitary and epidemiological situation has improved were not extended the state of emergency, and that decision has especially affected areas where spring sowing campaign is under way, he said.
"As for organizing large family parties [known in Kyrgyzstan as toi], I think that people will return to their normal way of life after quarantine," he said.
Earlier Deputy Prime Minister Erkin Asrandiyev said that cafes and restaurants will fully restore operation only after everything is over.
