Government allocates 95 million soms for payment of premiums to healthcare workers involved in fighting coronavirus

AKIPRESS.COM - 95 million soms were allocated for the payment of the premiums for the healthcare workers involved in the treatment of coronavirus patients, said the government.
Vice Prime Minister Aida Ismailova held a meeting of the commission on the distribution of funds from donations to finance activities in the fight against the coronavirus.
The meeting considered the issues on introducing amendments into the regulation on distribution of funds and heard the report of the Health Ministry on distrubtion of the previously allocated 38.5 million soms.
The Health Ministry requested 229.4 million soms for payment of premiums to healthcare workers for April.
The director of the Children's Rights Defenders League, Nazgul Turdubekova called on to allocate the funds for the purchase of the personal protective equipment.
The deputy director of the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund Akyl Kalykov, for his turn, noted that the purchase of the personal protective equipment in ongoing.
During the meeting, the commission approved allocation of 95.5 million soms for payment of compensations for medical workers on coronavirus the front lines.
