President Tokayev to announce new approach to quarantine restrictions in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev will make address on coronavirus situation today and will voice a new approach to quarantine restrictions.
"My statement on the coronavirus situation in our country will be published today. It will reflect a new approach to the quarantine measures," the President said on Twitter.
President's press secretary Berik Uali said earlier President Tokayev will make a televised address on coronavirus situation. The press secretary also said the decision will be made on possible extension of the state of emergency and quarantine restrictions.
Kazakhstan has so far confirmed 2,717 COVID-19 cases. 25 coronavirus patients died, 682 patients recovered.
