Tajikistan prohibits mass prayers

AKIPRESS.COM - Mass prayers at mosques are prohibited in Tajikistan since April 18, Asia-Plus reported.
The collective praying during the Month of Ramadan are prohibited to prevent COVID-19, th Council of Ulemmas of Tajikistan said.
The Council referred to the Islamic countries as example, which banned praying in mosques during the coronavirus pandemic. Similar prohibition was made in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan.
Gatherings during the Month of Ramadan are prohibited.
