Month of Ramadan to start on April 24 in Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Holy Month of Ramadan will start on April 24 in Kyrgyzstan.
This date may differ for one day depending upon emergency of the new moon, the Central Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan told AKIpress.
The date of start of the Ramadan fasting was determined by the Central Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan on the basis of the evidence obtained from the international astronomic observatories for Muslims of Central Asia, following the consultations with the Central Administrations of Muslims of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
In 2019, the Ramadan fasting started on May 6 and ended on June 6.
During the entire month of Ramadan, Muslims are obligated to fast every day from dawn to sunset.
