The fallen snow has not affected cereals. They are watered and treated against weeds now.
The cereals sown in autumn occupy 5,007 ha. The spring came early this year, so cereals will be harvested 10 days earlier than usual.
Kadamjai district of Batken region starts cereal harvesting first in Kyrgyzstan usually. A good yield of cereals is expected this year - up to 3 tons from 1 ha, the region administration said.
