AKIPRESS.COM - Two Uzbek truck drivers were stopped on the Sarym border crossing point on the Kazakh-Russian border. After they tested positive for coronavirus, they were taken to hospital.
They were bound from West Kazakhstan to Russia, Khabar 24 reported.
The two men had a high temperature during medical examination at the border crossig point. They were taken to the provisional hospital and there they tested positive for COVID-19. They are held in the infectious disease hospital now.
The truck drivers did not contact anyone except for epidemiologists, authorities say.
Their condition is stable. They did not have temperature the next day after hospitalization. They receive antiviral treatment for COVID-19.
