Uzbekistan plans to produce 50,000 coronavirus test kits by late April

AKIPRESS.COM - The researchers of the Advanced Technologies Center under the Ministry of Innovative have developed a coronavirus test system.
The system is being tested now.
50,000 test kits are expected to be produced by late April.
"Our researchers developed diagnostic guides and made laboratory tests for production of coronavirus test kits. Effects of several antiviral drugs are studied in Uzbekistan in cooperation with our international partners, their production will start in Uzbekistan," Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurahmanov said in an interview with Uzbekistan 24.
61,666 people were tested for coronavirus in Uzbekistan by April 7. Some 5,800 tests were made on April 7 only.
