First Covid-19 victim in Kazakhstan dies of double pneumonia and respiratory failure

AKIPRESS.COM - The first patient with coronavirus died in Kazakhstan, Minister of Information and Social Development Dauren Abaev said last night. This was the 64-year-old woman, native of Akmola region, who died of double pneumonia, respiratory failure, sepsis caused by diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis.
The pneumonia was caused by coronavirus.
The patient was receiving medical treatment at a regional hospital in Nur-Sultan.
