Tajikistan quarantines over 5,000 since February 1

AKIPRESS.COM - More than 5,000 people were quarantined in Tajikistan between February 1 and March 23, Avesta reported with reference to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection. Particularly, 5,038 people were quarantined after return from abroad for this period.
1,981 people were discharged from quarantine by March 23. Some 3,057 people remaining in quarantine are foreigners.
By March 23, Tajikistan has not confirmed COVID-19 cases, the Ministry of Health said and asked general public to disregard rumors about coronavirus cases in the country.
