Ala-Buka district raises 5 million soms for coronavirus fight

AKIPRESS.COM - 5 million soms have accumulated in the epidemiological fund, which was set up in the Ala-Buka district of Jalal-Abad region for coronavirus fight, Turmush reported.
The entrepreneurs financed purchase of pharmaceutical nebulizers. The equipment was delivered to the district hospital and the family medicine center. Nebulizers help disinfect premises, public places, etc.
"We make all efforts to prevent coronavirus outbreak. The entrepreneurs, local authorities and people not indifferent provided support and raised 4.7 million soms. They participate in operative team's meetings. The situation in the region is stable. The groups of volunteers were created in each village council to provide assistance," said the head of the district Emilbek Abdykadyrov.
Reportedly, 10 residents of the district arriving from minor hajj were placed under observation. Some 100 observation wards were prepared for the people suspected with coronavirus.
