Coronavirus: Three new hospitals will be built in Tashkent within one month

AKIPRESS.COM - Three new hospitals will be built in Tashkent within one month as part of the fight against coronavirus, Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva said.
These facilities are designed to receive patients amid quarantine. However, in the future the hospitals can be used for other purposes in the medical sphere, noted Narbayeva.
As of March 21, 33 cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Uzbekistan. Entertainment facilities and public catering facilities have been closed since 21 March, and weddings and other family events involving large numbers of people have been banned since 23 March.
President of Uzbekistan created an anti-crisis fund of 10 trillion soums ($1 billion) to support business, financial stability and social sphere.
