‘We had time to prepare for spread of coronavirus and we know what to do’ – PM Abilgaziyev

AKIPRESS.COM - "We had time for preparation for the spread of Covid-19 and we know what should be done," Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said on March 18 at the session on coronavirus situation.
Despite all efforts on prevention of infection in the country, three coronavirus cases were confirmed in Kyrgyzstan, he noted.
"These people returned from Saudi Arabia on March 12. Then this country was not among countries with epidemiological instability. Therefore, after initial check, they were offered home quarantine. They were visited by doctors every day," Abilgaziyev said.
The PM said probability of spreading of the virus was increasing every day.
"We were preparing further actions. All 135 passengers arriving by this plane were isolated," he added.
