Kyrgyz government obliges all educational institutions comply with quarantine order

AKIPRESS.COM - The order on quarantine for educational institutions applies to all institutions regardless of ownership form, Vice Prime Minister Altinai Omurbekova told a briefing today. The educational institutions are under quarantine in the country from March 16 and until April 8.
"The order explicitly says that all educational institutions should comply, regardless of form of ownership. Universities having foreign nationals were recommended earlier to restrict their travel. But after the decision was made to close the borders, foreigners will not be allowed to enter Kyrgyzstan," the Vice Prime Minister stressed.
Salaries of teachers for the period of quarantine will not be withheld, she said.
