Parliament committee considers government request to allocate 100 million soms for coronavirus prevention

AKIPRESS.COM - The parliament committee for budget and finance considered the government request on allocation of 100 million soms from the budget for coronavirus prevention, said the Parliament Speaker Dastan Bekeshev in interview on March 16.
According to him, a month ago, the parliament heard the report from the government on measures taken to prevent coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan. The government received approval from the relevant parliament committee on the allocation of 30 million soms from the budget for planned measures to prevent coronavirus.
"During the meeting of the Security Council, it was reported about the need for 100 million soms for coronavirus preventive measures. The parliament committee should approve the allocation 100 million soms from the budget in order to directly use funds for the prevention of coronavirus," Bekeshev said.
