Population census in Kyrgyzstan to be conducted as scheduled

AKIPRESS.COM - Population census in Kyrgyzstan will be held as scheduled - from March 23 to April 1, and in remote areas - on April 20-29, Chairman of the Statistics Committee Akylbek Sultanov said at the meeting of the Security Council.
Sultanov said the preparation works are complete at 90%.
The Security Council considered the current situation on coronavirus. The meeting was held with participant of President Sooronbai Jeenbekov and heads of a number of state bodies and governors of the regions.
Jeenbekov noted that the coronavirus situation in the country is under his personal control.
Employees of the territorial structures of the Statistics Committee are currently educating census takers and will finish until March 20, 2020.
