There is no need to declare quarantine as school attendance is 95% - Health Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - The operative team on coronavirus prevention considered the issue of declaring the quarantine in schools, said the Health Minister Kosmosbek Cholponayev at the press conference in Bishkek on March 13.
"There are some procedures for declaring the quarantine. We need to look at the attendance statistics: if attendance is above 25%, then the quarantine will be declared. On March 12, the Education Ministry said that attendance on average is 95%, so there is no reason," he said.
According to the minister, it was decided not to declare the quarantine yet, but announce a break for children. The situation is being monitored.
