State Registration Service of Kyrgyzstan produced and issued more than 24,000 external passports within 10 days

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan produced 38,653 passports in January and 46,801 in February, the press service of the Infokom state enterprise under the State Registration Service reported.
On March 1, the country banned border crossing on IDs. Due to the growing number of appeals to the State Registration Service, temporary measures on acceleration of terms of producing and issuing travel passports were launched in the country.
According to the Infokom, 31,788 applications were received for production of external passports and 24,285 external passports were issued on March 1-11.
Admission of documents for producing and issuing external passports is carried out in anu territorial offices of the State Registration Service or population service centers.
Kyrgyzstanis staying abroad can appeal to the diplomatic representatives.
