Water level in Kyrgyzstan's strategic dam drops by 4.8bn m3 since heating start

AKIPRESS.COM - As of March 9, the volume of water in Toktogul reservoir amounted to 12.2 billion cubic meters.
Water inflow was 166 cubic meters per second, while water consumption was 611 cubic meters per second.
Since January 1, the volume of water has decreased by 2.754 billion cubic meters.
Since the start of the heating season on November 1, 2019 the volume of water in the reservoir has decreased by 4,834.4 million cubic meters.
