Around 50 citizens of Uzbekistan stay in Iran

AKIPRESS.COM - Around 50 citizens of Uzbekistan stay in Iran, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
As of March 6, no coronavirus cases among them were registered.
The working group functions at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Tehran 24 hours a day until stabilization of the epidemiological situation there. The working group makes outreach efforts, provides consular, legal and other assistance.
The Embassy maintains contacts with the Iranian authorities.
If citizens of Uzbekistan decide to return to the home country, they will be quarantined for 14 days upon return to Tashkent, the Ministry said.
According to the Iranian government, 3,513 coronavirus cases were confirmed and 107 lethal cases were registered by March 5.
