Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency supports opening of first ever diabetes school in Dushanbe

AKIPRESS.COM - Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) supported opening of the first diabetes school in Dushanbe.
The school is aimed to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes.
Endocrinologists will deliver trainings at the school to raise public awareness about diabetes.
The school will offer theoretical and practical courses to regulate eating habits of people with diabetes.
It also has equipment and specialists for diagnostics and treatment of diabetes. School will offer a fitness program for people with diabetes.
Distance learning courses will be arranged for medical college students from other regions of the country.
Turkish endocrinologists and diet specialists will visit the diabetes school in future to facilitate trainings, TIKA said.
