'We are fully accountable for those checked for coronavirus' — Health Ministry of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - "We are fully accountable for those people, whom we checked for coronavirus," Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Kosmosbek Cholponbayev said while answering the question of locals in some districts of the country concerning over the citizens of China. The Minister at a press conference on February 28 was asked about the situation in Jumgal and Aravan districts, where the Chinese workers arrived. These are employees of the China Road company, according to him.
All citizens of China pass the checkup, they are tested, the Minister said.
The Chinese workers also arrived in Aravan district. Cholponbayev said they were tested as well.
"We are demanding some companies to create such conditions as in observations. The population is politicizing this issue. Our medical staff is checking these people. We are accountable for those, whom we checked," Cholponbayev added.
