AKIPRESS.COM - Children under 18 years will be able to travel in public transport in Nur-Sultan for free, Liter.kz reports.
Chairman of the City Transportation Systems (former Astana LRT) transport company Bekmyrza Igenberdinov told about the new tariffs of public transport at the meeting on occasion of the development of transport complex of the capital.
Public transport fares for minors will become free from March 28, according to him.
A free fare for children will be also applied outside the city.
All school children of the capital received cards for payment of fares and food. By September 1, 2019, all schools of Nur-Sultan were connected to cashless payment platform.
Astana LRT on February 27 announced about rebranding and changing of its name.
