Shorter working day might be allowed for Kazakhstanis

AKIPRESS.COM - Mazhilis members passed the amendments providing special working hours for employees, who have sick family members, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
The bill also covers the issues of labor relations, social partnership, security and labor protection.
MP Zhanat Omarbekova noted that the right of the employees to favorable labor conditions is offered to prevent the discrimination cases at work.
The Mazhiliemen also offered criminal responsibilities for discrimination at work.
One of the proposals of the parliamentarians as part of the bill is to change working hours for Kazakhstanis, who take care of sick relatives.
These category of employees will be provided a right to shorter working day. The document will be sent to the Senate for approval.
