OPEC Fund for International Development gives $54 million loan for water supply improvement in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - A $54 million loan agreement was signed between Uzbekistan and OPEC Fund for International Development in Vienna.
The agreement will finance improvement of water supply in 22 settlements in Namangan region, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.
The water supply system meeting the world quality standards will be created during the project and around 200,000 citizens of rural areas of Namangan region will obtain access to potable water.
