Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan denies information on torture of dead activist

AKIPRESS.COM - Chief of the investigation department of the Interior Ministry of Kazakhstan Sanzhar Adilov in the Parliament told about the details of detention and death of the civil activist Dulat Agadil while being in custody, zakon.kz reported.
Adilov commented on the video of detention of the activist that appeared on social media.
According to him, the man was arrested in the Tselinograd district by police of Almaty region.
The activist was repeatedly ignoring the summons issued by investigator and was taken into custody, Adilov said.
The chief investigator denied the reports on traumas on the body of the activist.
Court experts reported that the death came as a result of a sudden cardiac arrest, acute cardiovascular insufficiency, he said.
On February 25, opposition activist Dulat Agadil died in the prison of Nur-Sultan. Police checking application of torture.
