Government of Japan to provide over $300,000 for social projects in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - The Government of Japan will provide more than $300,000 for five social projects in the regions of Tajikistan, the Embassy of Japan said.
The ceremony of signing of grant contracts was held today at the Embassy of Japan in Dushanbe.
The grant contracts were signed between Ambassador of Japan to Tajikistan Takayuki Miyashita and heads of organizations-beneficiaries.
The total value of the grant contracts makes $303,590.
The projects include rehabilitation of the youth center in Khorog, construction of medical facilities in Darvaz, Rushan and Shugnan districts of Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region for the total of $217,490.
Another project is improvement of water supply systems in 4 villages of Rudaki district for $86,100.
