Kazakhstan to extend ban on export of gasoline — Ministry of Energy

AKIPRESS.COM - Kazakhstan will prolong the ban earlier imposed on export of gasoline from the country by automobile transport, Minister of Energy Nurlan Nogayev said. Authorities in Kazakhstan imposed a 6-month restrictions for export of petroleum and diesel fuel by automobile transport in November 2019.
Authorities last summer found out a mass flow of Russian drivers to Kazakhstan, who were exporting petroleum for low prices to make a business in Russia.
Then Minister of Energy Kanat Bozumbayev said that the mass export of petroleum to Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was due to the low prices.
