President Jeenbekov says law on prevention of child abuse is needed

AKIPRESS.COM - The government of Kyrgyzstan in 2020 will pay special attention to the policy of protection of children, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov said today speaking in the Parliament. According to him, a draft law composing norms that determine new procedures of payment of social benefits, support the vulnerable families, reduce corruption risks and use digital technologies will be submitted soon to the Parliament for consideration.
The law on reinforcing obligations of state and local bodies on prevention of child abuse and child care should be adopted, the President noted.
2020 was announced as a Year of Development of Regions, Digitalization and Support of Children in Kyrgyzstan.
