Drivers whose vehicles impede traffic movement should pay 15 soms per hour in Bishkek, mayor says

AKIPRESS.COM - Bishkek local council unanimously supported the temporary provision on the procedure and provisions for the organization of paid municipal parking in Bishkek on Feb 19. The chairman of the budget commission Ernis Dokenov said that the commission proposed to exclude the article on the amount of payment for parking from the provision. "The payment for parking should be included in the register of municipal services in order to set the fee for parking," he said.
The parking will allow to decrease traffic jams and the number of vehicles left on the road, which impede the traffic movement. The citizens whose vehicles impede the movement should pay 15 soms per hour, said mayor Aziz Surakmatov.
