Right to vocation and medical aid of labor migrants from Uzbekistan enshrined in law of Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Labor migrants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will have an equal access to the vocation, medical aid and other services in each countries, Vlast.kz reports.
This was enshrined by the Mazhilis of Kazakhstan in a draft law on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on labor activities and protection of rights of labor migrants.
The agreement is aimed at taking measures on regulation of migration flows and prevention of illegal labor activities in both countries.
Ratification of the document will contribute to strengthening of cooperation between the two countries in the field of regulation of processes of labor migration, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Birzhan Nurymbetov said at the Parliament session.
The given agreement is applied to all labor migrants between the two countries and regulates the issue of protection of their rights, he said.
