Prices for electricty to rise in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Prices for electricity will grow by 4.95% in Kazakhstan, ranking.kz reported with reference to the natural monopoly regulation committee.
The growth is explained by increase of the tariff from the Ministry of Energy.
Kazakhstan in January-December 2019 produced 107.5 billion kWh of electricity, which is 0.2% more than the same period of 2018.
According to the Ministry, tariffs for electricity in Jan 2020 increased by 1% compared to Dec 2019 due to the growth of tariffs.
Payments for electricity for population rose by 0.5-0.6% within the month.
