Tajikistan accredits 108 international observers for upcoming parliamentary elections

AKIPRESS.COM - Some 108 international observers have been accredited in Tajikistan to monitor the parliamentary elections, Khovar news agency reported.
The elections will be held on March 1, 2020.
Observers of the CIS countries, representatives of several diplomatic missions present in the country, OSCE/ODIHR observers were accredited.
Interior Minister Ramazon Rahimzoda said earlier all police forces will be mobilized to protect public order and safety on the day of vote.
63 members of the Parliament of Tajikistan will be elected, 41 from single mandate constituencies and 22 from lists of political parties.
The official registration of candidates closed on February 9.
