First Vice PM of Kyrgyzstan criticizes of environmentalists for poor works on investment attraction

AKIPRESS.COM - The first Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov criticized the work of the State Agency for Environmental Protection and Forestry on attraction of investment funds, the government's press service said.
At the meeting of the staff on discussion of the results of 2019, Boronov noted that the share of forest production in the GDP is only 0.05%, which is very low indicator. He said this figure should be increased at least to 1%.
Boronov also underlined a low acclimatization of seedlings and ordered to take measures on improving the plants acclimatization.
He ordered to reinforce the work with international organizations on attraction of investments.
"The environmental issue is one of the most problematic issues in Bishkek and a complex of measures are needed for improvement of the environmental condition of the city and outside the city," Boronov noted.
