City budget expenditures in 2019 were over 460 million som – Bishkek mayor’s office

AKIPRESS.COM - Gross Regional Product as a result of 2019 amounted to 238,377.1 billion som with the real growth of 104.9%, the first vice mayor of Bishkek for financial and economic policy Almaz Baketayev said at the session of the staff. According to him, income of the city budget was 8,257 billion som, which is 1,129 billion more than the last year.
Cash expenses totaled to 8,720.5 billion som, including more than 50% were allocated for development of social sphere.
In 2020, the city budget neared to 10 billion som for the first time.
Expenditures of the budget exceeded the revenues by 463.5 million som.
