AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev on Feb 14 participated in the opening ceremony of the new school in the village of Boston, Uzgen district, Osh region.
According to him, more than 200 schools and about 30 kindergartens were built in the country over the past 2 years.
"This is due to a proper management of financial policy," he said at the ceremony.
The PM said that 38 billion som are allocated for the education sphere in 2020.
The government planned to raise salaries of teachers by 30% from October 1, 2019, he noted.
The new school in Boston accommodates 275 children. Construction of the school started in 2014. 88.5 million som were spent for it.
