Buses and marshrutkas will have separate stops in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM - The mayor's office will launch work on reorganization of bus stops in Bishkek in March, 2020, said vice-mayor Milan Amanturov at the mayor's office session on Feb 14. According to him, the bus stops will be divided into two, where the area for buses will be marked with green and for minibuses (marshrutkas) with yellow. "80% of bus stops will be allocated for buses," he said.
According to him, this method will help to regulate chaotic stops of public transport.
Amanturov added that the on bus stops located near intersections is underway.
