70% of fire-service equipment outdated: Emergencies Ministry

AKIPRESS.COM - 70% of fire-service equipment is outdated, said the head of fire extinction and fire prevention department of Emergencies Ministry Ravshan Ashirbayev on air of Birinchi Radio on Feb 14. Ashirbayev noted that most of the equipment was produced in 1970s-1990s. The operation term expired.
"We made proposals on updating the equipment. We are working in this direction along with international donors. The talks with China on provision of 100 units of equipment is underway," said Ashirbayev.
