Technogenic emergency remains in Kordai district

AKIPRESS.COM - A man-caused emergency situation remains in Kordai district today, zakon.kz reports.
The law enforcement bodies are working in a reinforced mode to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
At a moment, block posts are set up at the entrance to and exit from the villages in Kordai district.
Some 30 houses, 17 business facilities and 47 vehicles were burnt as a result of recent events in the district.
The amount of damage will be established soon.
All social facilities, kindergartens and pharmacies are working as normal today.
A humanitarian aid was delivered to the villages.
Mass disorders occurred in Kordai district of Zhambyl region on February 8. According to the latest reports, 10 people died, almost 50 participants of the clashes were detained. The Interior Ministry says the reason for the incident was a road conflict, which was turned to the interethnic issue by provocators.
