China leads in foreign investments in Tajikistan

AKIPRESS.COM - China leads in size of direct investments made in the national economy of Tajikistan in 2019, State Investment and Property Management Committee Chairman Farrukh Khamralizoda said, Avesta reports.
Tajikistan received around $346 million in foreign investments in 2019, which is 6% more than in 2018, he said.
China has invested $262.3 million.
Russian investments stood at $33.1 million.
Investments from the UK amounted to $13.9 million.
Turkish investments totaled $13.5 million.
65 state investment projects are ongoing in Tajikistan now for over $3.3 billion.
